On Tuesday 16th July our two very knowledgeable judges walked around the village to find the gardens best suited to the categories laid down.

They had a wonderful afternoon discovering the many beautiful gardens in Groomsport and their only regret was that they had to chose only three.

The worthy winners are….

Davey for his amazing sustainable use of plants and pond which encourage wild life . A beautiful garden.

Margaret for the love and care which goes into her planting . She nurtures each plant resulting in a wonderful garden display.

Hilary for her clever planting in a small space which adds colour and vibrancy to her neighbourhood . Some amazing plants thriving under her care.

Congratulations to not only the winners but to everyone who allowed us to view their gardens and we look forward to next year’s competition when you will be able to enter your garden.

A very big thank you to our two judges who gave their time and knowledge and see you next year ladies.
